The Mission Continues Volunteer Day 2012
Calling CRC Members to come out on Saturday, July 28th to volunteer alongside our Mission Continues veterans! Together with a group of approx. 250 people we will partner with Edge Alliance to rehab homes on the west side of Chicago. The event will last from 12:30-5pm and tasks will include landscaping, light construction work, painting and various other remodeling tasks. Please come in work clothes and wear closed toe shoes. We will be working outside or in homes without air conditioning, so dress appropriately and bring your sunscreen. There will be light refreshments available throughout the work day. Family and friends are welcome, however, participants must be 16 years or older. We have a limit on how many volunteers we can have on that day, so please sign up soon!
