Charitable Causes

Each year CRC Charitable Causes Committee holds a fundraising event.  For the last several years this event has been a fun filled silent auction and raffle at our February meeting. This makes for a truly energized meeting. Currently we are supporting Rebuilding Together, a national organization dedicated to helping low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners live in warmth, safety and independence.  The fundraiser is made possible by the donation and bids of our member companies and community businesses. 

In accordance with the mission of the Charitable Causes Committee of supporting a housing related program and encouraging volunteerism within CRC, we join with Rebuilding Together on their National Work Day in late April or early May.  CRC members meet at a home selected by Rebuilding Together to perform general fix-up needs, such as painting, home repairs and lawn work.  No experience is necessary, just a charitable heart.  This is a day filled with great reward and camaraderie.
